About us.....
Why we formed the Doula Hub
When we first started out as solo doulas, we both found it incredibly rewarding but also challenging in different ways. Coming from a corporate background, risk aversion was second nature, and one of our biggest concerns was what would happen if we couldn’t be there for a birth. The idea of building a strong relationship with a client, only to have to send a last-minute replacement—someone they didn’t know, found at random—felt completely out of alignment with the exceptional level of care we wanted to provide.
That’s why The Doula Hub was born—a way to ensure that our clients always have the best possible support. Over the past few years, we’ve worked exclusively together, and now, we can’t imagine doing it any other way. Our clients don’t just get one doula—they get both of us. This means that from the start, you build a relationship with two experienced, compassionate doulas who are completely in sync with each other. On the rare occasion that one of us isn’t available, there’s no stress or uncertainty—
you already know and trust the person stepping in. And
even when only one of us is physically at your birth, we’re
both supporting you, with the other offering remote guidance
behind the scenes.

The clients who seek us out are typically evidence-based thinkers. They want to feel prepared, understand the science behind birth, and be actively involved in making informed choices. They also recognize that, while birth is unpredictable, there are ways to navigate the unexpected with clarity and confidence. This is where we excel. We help our clients deeply understand what they can control in birth and how to stay calm and empowered when things take an unexpected turn.
Our experience
Between us, we have over 16 years of experience and have supported hundreds of families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. We’re also both mentors for newly trained doulas, helping to shape the next generation of birth workers. But what really makes our approach unique is the way we blend our corporate
backgrounds with deeply
intuitive, hands-on doula care.
Our Ethos
We bring together structure and strategy with warmth and reassurance, guiding our clients to approach birth with a balance of preparation and flexibility. We are passionate about education, ensuring that the antenatal preparation we provide is of the highest standard, always rooted in the latest evidence-based research. We spend time studying the most up-to-date data on childbirth so our clients can make informed choices. We also both specialise in biomechanics—understanding how a baby moves through the pelvis—which has been invaluable in helping our clients have smoother, more efficient labours.
Together, we’re redefining what doula support looks like. By combining efficiency, strategic thinking, and deep emotional intelligence, we offer a truly holistic and transformative birthing experience.
